Superman Copyright Fiasco

Okay, I'm royally confused. The recent ruling that the copyright for Superman reverts back to the descendants of Siegel/Shuster in 2013.

Does this theoretically mean the flagship character of DC could potentially jump ship from the DC market?

Could we see Superman in Marvel/Image?
